Start of the day for all children
Gates open at 8.40am and Key Stage 2 children are to line up on the playground in their classes where an adult will meet them and take them into class in; Key Stage 1 wait with their parent/carer on the playground and then the adult will be at the classroom door to welcome children into class.
Lessons will commence at 8.45am and the register is taken at this time.
At 8:50am all the exterior gates will be locked and all children arriving after this time must enter through the main office entrance and sign into school on the school computerised InVentry system. This will result in a late mark in the register.
Any child who demonstrates a pattern of persistent lateness will be invited to school to discuss strategies to support good attendance and punctuality.
End of the day for all children
School finishes at 3.15pm – this equates to 32.5 hours per week of compulsory education.
