Message from our Head Teacher – Mrs Scott
A very warm welcome from myself and the team at St Peter’s. My name is Mrs Jenny Scott and I am the proud headteacher of our wonderful, inclusive school. We are a larger than average sized, over subscribed primary school, serving the Farnworth community. Our vision is that all our children will ‘Learn, Sparkle and Shine’ and become well-rounded, confident individuals, who are able to contribute positively and prosper in society. Our commitment to you and your children is that we will provide an excellent education to every child, in every classroom, every day.
As a Church of England school we place our values at the centre of all that we do and with this in mind we aspire to provide the very best education that we can for the children. Our mission statement embodies this purpose.
We aim to develop our children to enable them to create the future they aspire for themselves, inspired by God, influenced by the teachings of Jesus and underpinned by Christian Values; rooted in The Bible and the word of God.
Underpinning the success of our school is the fostering of positive relationships and we pride ourselves on building strong relationships within school and with our local community. St Peter’s is an extremely nurturing school and creating a safe, caring learning environment is pivotal to the children achieving their best.
